My mixed media paintings are rooted in a deep love of the natural world. Drawing on years of experience as a painter and sculptor, I blend fluid acrylics, inks, collage, and expressive mark-making to create scenes filled with mood, movement, and quiet mystery. Nature is my constant muse — from shoreline grasses to forest birds — interpreted through abstraction and strong compositional design. I include Anishinaabemowin, the language of the Anishinaabe people, in my work as a way of embracing my maternal Anishinaabe ancestors. My studio is a place of curiosity, experimentation, and layered storytelling, where each piece evolves intuitively. Visitors are warmly invited to explore the process, the paintings, and the stories behind them. Please note, that my studio space is upstairs and not accessible for those with mobility issues.
