Kelly MacLeod

Kelly MacLeod has been an acrylic artist for many years. Mostly self-taught, she creates vivid paintings featuring local scenery and daily life.

A life-long Valley resident, she finds inspiration for her works everywhere — be it a hilltop view, an abandoned homestead or something else she saw along the way, the piece always tells an interesting story. The rough, forgotten beauty of the area begs its tales be told.

To express them on canvas through the use of light and colour, and also highlight the seasonal and atmospheric changes have been the motivation behind these visual representations of Valley life.
